One of the most basic ways of getting both of them, seems to go either unknown, or unused.

That method is the Pingback/Trackback method.

The Pingback/Trackback works something like this (simple description):

  1. You find an interesting post on someone else’s Blog
  2. You create a related post on your Blog
  3. In your post, you link back to the original post (#1)
